East Wenatchee, WA – On Monday, February 28, the governors of California, Oregon and Washington adopted a new indoor mask policy that adjusts the original timing of Inslee’s statewide indoor mask lift to March 11.

Although indoor mask requirements will now be lifted on March 11, the new multi-state policy does not change any other aspect of Inslee’s February 17 announcement. Indoor masking will still be required in healthcare and medical facilities, long-term care settings and correctional facilities.

Private businesses and local governments have the option to require masks for employees and customers.
CDHD asks community members to be kind and respect the decisions of individuals and private businesses moving forward.

As COVID-19 trends allow for this next phase of the pandemic, vaccines continue to be the most effective against severe illness and hospitalizations. CDHD now offers first, second and booster Pfizer vaccines to adults and children ages 5+ at Town Toyota Center every Friday from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm. Pre-registration is not required.
