Doulas
Let's honor and support mothers and birthing people in our community.
Doulas provide emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum—walking alongside families and respecting each person’s unique needs, preferences, and experiences. Continuous support during pregnancy and birth is associated with lower cesarean rates, fewer interventions, and improved satisfaction with care. In Washington, doula services are now covered under Apple Health, helping reduce cost barriers and expand access to care. Doulas support people of all backgrounds, cultures, languages, and family structures—because care that is respectful, culturally responsive, and centered on choice matters.
