  • Cover Up - wear protective clothing, hats, long sleeves, and pants.

  • Avoid the Bite. - Use Mosquito Repellents. Reapply every two hours when outdoors as needed according to product label. Install or Repair Window and Door Screens. Mosquitoes are most active from Dusk til Dawn.

  • Eliminate Standing Water  - Where mosquitos can lay eggs.

Support Community Based Mosquito Control Programs.

    

 

People over 50 years of age are at highest risk for the most serious complications of West Nile Virus Disease.

Measles is a highly contagious vaccine-preventable disease and most deadly of all childhood rash/fever illnesses.

The MMR vaccine is the safest protection you can give your child against measles. Children should be given the first dose of MMR vaccine soon after the first birthday & the 2nd dose

before kindergarten.
