                             Prenatal Care Rate

                              Medicaid Birth Rate

Text Box: There was no change in the death rate for Chelan-Douglas children ages 0-17. For WA State children, the death rate decreased about 1.6% per year from 1996 to 2005. Text Box: There was no change in the death rate for Chelan-Douglas males and females ages 18 to 64 years. For WA State males, the death rate decreased about 5.2% per year from 1996 to 1998 and increased about 1.1% per year from 1999 to 2005. Text Box: For Chelan-Douglas males and females and WA state females there was no change in the death rate. For WA state males, the death rate decreased about 2.4% per year from 2002 to 2005.                         Stroke Hospitalization Rate

 

 

 

Text Box: There was no change in stroke hospitalization rates for males and females in Chelan-Douglas counties.                               Stroke Death Rate

 

 

 

Text Box: There is no change in stroke deaths for males and females in Chelan-Douglas counties. In WA State males, stroke deaths declined about 1.8% per year between 1996 and 2002. Between the years 2002 and 2005, they declined about 11.0% per year. In WA State females, they declined about 10.2% per year between 2002 and 2005.    Joinpoint Regression Program, Version 3.0.                  Heart Disease Hospitalization Rate

 

 

 

Text Box: For Chelan-Douglas males and females, the rate of heart disease hospitalizations decreased about 3.7% per year. The rate of heart disease hospitalizations for WA State males decreased 1.5% per year. For WA State females, it decreased 1.4% per year.    Joinpoint Regression Program, Version 3.0. Text Box: There was no change in heart disease death rate for Chelan-Douglas males. For Chelan-Douglas females, there was a decrease of about 1.8% per year from 1996 to 2005. In WA State males there was a decrease of 3.4% per year from 1996 to 2005. For WA State females, the heart disease death rate did not change between 1996 and 2001.                           Cancer Diagnosis Rate

 

Text Box: The cancer diagnosis rate for Chelan-Douglas males increased about 2.3% per year between 1995 and 2001. From 2002 to 2004 the rate decreased about 16.2% per year. For Chelan-Douglas females, the cancer rate increased about 3.8% per year between 1995 and 2001. From 2002 to 2004, it decreased about 14.2% per year. In WA State males, the cancer rate increased about 1.8% per year between 1995 and 1999. From 2000 to 2004, it decreased about 1.3% per year. In WA State females, the cancer rate increased about 1.0% per year from 1995 to 2001. From 2002 to 2004 it decreased about 1.7% per year.    Joinpoint Regression Program, Version 3.0. Text Box: There was no change in the cancer death rate for either males or females in Chelan-Douglas counties. In WA State males, cancer deaths decreased about 1.5% per year between 1996 and 2006.                    Colorectal Cancer Diagnosis Rate

 

 

Text Box: There was no change in the rate of new colorectal cancer for either males or females in Chelan-Douglas counties.  In WA State males, colorectal cancer rates decreased about 4.9% per year between 2000 and 2004.  In WA State females, it decreased about 2.7% per year between 1998 and 2004. In WA State males, colorectal cancer deaths decreased about 2.8% per year between 1996 and 2006. In WA State females, it decreased about 2.3% per year between 1996 and 2006.               Prostate Diagnosis Cancer Rate

 

 

Text Box: There was no change in the diagnosis rate of prostate cancer from 1995 to 2002 for Chelan-Douglas males. From 2002 to 2004, the prostate cancer rate decreased about 25.3% per year. For WA State males, it increased about 4.4% per year from 1995 to 1999. From 1999 to 2004, it decreased about 2.5% per year.    Joinpoint Regression Program, Version 3.0.                      Breast Cancer Diagnosis Rate

 

 

Text Box: There was no change in the rate of breast cancer in females from Chelan-Douglas counties from 1995 to 2001. There was a decrease of about 17.7% per year from 2002 to 2004.                               Chlamydia Rate

 

 

Text Box: In Chelan-Douglas males, the chlamydia infection rate increased about 11.6% per year. In Chelan-Douglas females, the chlamydia infection rate increased about 5.9% per year. In WA State males, it increased about 9.5% per year, and in WA State females the chlamydia infection rate increased about 6.1% per year.    Joinpoint Regression Program, Version 3.0.                               Herpes Rate

 

 

Text Box: For Chelan-Douglas males, the herpes infection rate was too small to identify trends.
