Restaurant Inspections and Food Worker Testing

  • Inspect retail food service establishments such as restaurants, grocery stores, taverns, mobile units and concessions
  • Inspect temporary food booths for events like Apple Blossom or Autumn Leaf Festivals
  • Investigate food-borne illness complaints
  • Educate food workers and restaurant operators on safe foodhandling practices
  • Food Worker Testing is now available on computer.

Food Safety is Everybody's Business  

  • You can read this manual before taking the test.
  • Testing is available M-F at our main office, upstairs, from 8-3:30
  • Cost $10.

Off Site Food Worker Card Testing is an Option

NOTE:  Off site test takers must submit the certificate and $10 payment within 30 days to the health district to receive a three year Food Worker Card.
