Information for Vital Records Requests               

Birth Certificates may be ordered at the Health District for births from 1921 to the present.

Death Certificates are only available for recent deaths.

Come in to the main floor office or order by phone. We accept most Credit or Debit Cards.

Call 509 886-6400 for next day pick up. These can also be mailed to you upon request.

The Mailing Fee is $2.

Birth and Death Certificates are also available immediately for a $10 expedited fee.

If your birth year is before 1921, or your death certificate is older than 1-2 months

please order them through forms available from Olympia at the

Center for Health Statistics - please use their forms available on line through them.
